Tim McFarlane AM

With a highly regarded career in theatre, Tim has been instrumental in establishing strong industry networks and promoting the work of Entertainment Assist. He continues to play a pivotal role in securing support for our national community fundraiser, Buckets of Love.

Tim currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Trafalgar Entertainment Asia Pacific. His previous leadership roles include CEO of The Ambassador Theatre Group Asia Pacific and an 18-year tenure as Managing Director of the Asia Pacific subsidiary of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group (RUG). In these capacities, he produced major theatrical works across Australia, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Africa.

Earlier in his career, Tim was the General Manager of the Adelaide Festival Centre and the Adelaide Festival. He is a former President and current Life Member of Live Performance Australia. Additionally, he served as a Director of Opera Australia from 2006 to 2020 and was previously a Trustee of the Sydney Opera House.
